Kraft card stock, that is. Here are two cards I made today, and this is going to be a very short post, because it's freezing in the basement. Since my laptop died, I'm having to use the computer in Mike's "cave." It really feels like a cave tonight!
Stamp set: Inspired by Nature
Ink: Real Red classic, Vanilla craft*
Paper: Kraft, Real Red, Basic Black card stock
Accessories: Crafter's Tool Kit, Stampin'
Sponges, Black embossing powder, Photo corners punch
*"Why in the world did you use Vanilla Craft
Ink?" I was going to do something else, but it didn't work out....So I just left the vanilla on there and embossed with black powder. You can use VersaMark or any other pigment ink.
I got the idea for the Top Note folded cards from Patty Bennett's blog. You fold the card but leave a little bit of the Top Note die uncovered by the card stock. Pretty smart, huh? I attached my card to another piece of card stock to make it 5 1/2x 4 1/4", but you can just leave it plain and it's really cute. We'll be doing this at Stamp Club this month.
Stamp set: A Cardinal Christmas
Ink: Handsome Hunter, Riding Hood Red
Paper: Handsome Hunter, Kraft card stock; Kraft Patterns DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die
That's it for today. I'm off to find a warm spot and some hot chocolate!
