Stampin' Up! had a Book-a-thon a few weeks ago (thanks again to everyone who booked a workshop for me!!) and one of the incentives was a new set from the upcoming Occasions mini catalog. Everyone who participated got a free set called "Button, Button." It's super cute, and I decided to use it on this card. BUT - as is always the case, it didn't turn out even close to what I envisioned.
I wanted to use the Cherry Blossom embosslit and the plan was to have the stamped "Button, Button" in the centers. But they weren't the right size to punch and looked funky cut out. I ended up punching the centers of the stamped images with the "Itty Bitty Shapes" punches and covering them with the bitty buttons, so you really can't even tell what the new set looks like, and I can't give clues until January. But I can show you the card...
It's very apple blossomy! Once I decided how I wanted to do the buttons, it went really fast. I love my Big Shot!!
We had a great time at the workshop today. Except for one bow, I think the projects went really well. If you missed today's, you have another chance on Saturday at 10 a.m. Be sure to RSVP so I'll have supplies. You can either leave a comment here or shoot me an e-mail.
